Mountain to Surf Half-Day Traverse
From AUD $149.00
- Duration: 4 Hours (approx.)

A great experience for any ecotourism connoisseur!
A more challenging extension to our Mountain to Surf easy trail ride. On this tour, you'll have to put in the effort to traverse the distance of around 15km; up and down along the Brisbane Water National Park ridge-line to the seaside.
The tour starts & finishes at Pearl Beach. We then shuttle you (to the top) for the ride start point at: Staples Lookout, Woy Woy road. You traverse from here.
A wilderness ride suitable for experienced ecotourists with moderate to high fitness level, suitable for mountain bike riders with beginner-intermediate abilities.
Expect to encounter native wildlife along the way. Many different bush climate zones from dry bush descent, through temperate forest, down into lush rain-forest. Experience the incredible views from the world class Warrah lookout (looking South toward Sydney).
Enjoy an all downhill forest trail to finish the ride beachside, ending at the exclusive Pearl Beach for a swim, shower & bite to eat.
Note: this tour uses a section of the Great North Walk to traverse between fire trails that are suitable for riding. This means you must push/carry your mountain bike in some areas. Do not attempt this experience unless you can confidently carry a mountain bike for short sections of uphill and downhill rough-hewn rocky steps.
